Dr. Balogh János rendőr vezérőrnagy, a Készenléti Rendőrség parancsnoka 2015. november 20-án Szegeden megköszönte annak az 50 főből álló szlovák kontingensnek a munkáját, akik 2015. október 21-e óta a Készenléti Rendőrség és a Honvédség állományával közösen láttak el járőrszolgálatot a magyar-szerb határszakaszon. Az esemény keretében fogadta a távozó egység váltásaként érkező szlovák kollegákat. 

Mint arról korábban beszámoltunk a szlovák kontingens feladata a határátkelőhelyek közötti biztonsági határzárral védett zöld határ őrzése, gyalogos járőrszolgálat, gépkocsizó járőrszolgálat és figyelő szolgálat ellátása, valamint a mélységben történő ellenőrzések támogatása.

A szlovák rendőrök saját egyenruhájukban, szolgálati fegyverükkel és felszerelésükkel látják el feladataikat. Intézkedési jogosultságukat - amelyre vonatkozóan a magyar jogot kell alkalmazniuk - kizárólag magyar rendőr felügyelete mellett gyakorolhatják. 

The replacing force has arrived

Pol. Major General Dr. János Balogh, Commander of the Rapid Response Police Unit thanked the Slovak contingent of 50 police officers for their patrol service carried out at the Hungarian-Serbian border section jointly with the staff of the Rapid Response Police Unit and the Hungarian Defence Forces as of 21 October 2015. Under the aegis of the event, he also welcomed the Slovak colleagues arrived to replace the leaving contingent.

As previously reported, the tasks of the Slovak contingent are to guard the green border section – protected by security border obstacle – between border control points; to carry out foot patrols, patrolling by vehicle and observation service and to support in-depth controls.

Slovak police officers carry out their tasks wearing their own uniforms and carrying their own service weapons and equipment. They can only take police measures under the supervision of Hungarian police officers, by applying the Hungarian law.
