Dr. Balogh János rendőr vezérőrnagy, a Készenléti Rendőrség parancsnoka 2015. december 3-án Szegeden megköszönte annak az 55 főből álló lengyel kontingensnek a munkáját, akik 2015. november 7-e óta a Készenléti Rendőrség és a Honvédség állományával közösen láttak el járőrszolgálatot a magyar-szerb határszakaszon.

Mint arról korábban beszámoltunk a lengyel kontingens feladata a határátkelőhelyek közötti biztonsági határzárral védett zöld határ őrzése, gyalogos járőrszolgálat, gépkocsizó járőrszolgálat és figyelő szolgálat ellátása, valamint a mélységben történő ellenőrzések támogatása volt.

On 3 December 2015 Pol. Major General Dr.  János Balogh, commander of the Rapid Response Police Unit thanked the Polish contingent of 55 officers for their work in Szeged that was carried out since 7 November 2015 jointly with the staff of the Rapid Response Police Unit and the Hungarian Armed Forces in form of patrol service at the Hungarian-Serbian border section.

As previously reported, the tasks of the Polish contingent were to guard the green border section – protected by security border obstacle – between border control points; to carry out foot patrols, patrolling by vehicle and observation service and to support in-depth controls.
