Beantragung Notpass / How to apply for an Emergency PP

Bitte in den Parteiverkehrszeiten zur Botschaft kommen:

Please come to the Embassy during the following opening hours:

• Montag – Freitag / Monday to Friday/ 9:00 – 11:00

Bitte Folgendes vorlegen: / When you go the Embassy take the following:

• Ein farbiges Ausweisbild (35 mm x 45 mm) / Passport pictures color (35 mm x 45 mm)

• Polizeibericht (Verlustanzeige) / Police report

• Bargeld in HUF cca. 35.000,- / Cash Hungarian Forint, around 35.000

• Wenn möglich, Kopie vom verlorenen Ausweis oder einen anderen Lichtbildausweis (Studentenausweis, Führerschein, etc…) oder ein Identitätszeuge (z.B. ein  Freund mit Reisepass) / If possible a copy of your lost document or other documents with picture (student card, driving license, …) or a person as witness identity (e.g. friend with passport)

Bitte frühestmöglich zur Botschaft kommen, um den Notpass am selben Tag erhalten zu können.  Please come as early as possible if you want to collect your travel document on the same day.

Notpässe können am Wochenende nur ausgestellt werden, wenn die Identität des Passwerbers einwandfrei feststeht, bzw. wenn ein Zeuge, der sich ausweisen muss, die Identität des Passwerbers eidesstattlich bestätigt. Emergency passports can be issued on the weekends only, if the identity of the person can be verified without doubts or a witness, who is able to identify him-/herself is present.
