THE REASONABLE SUSPICION: ENDANGERING OF WATERBORNE TRAFFIC CAUSING A FATAL MASS DISASTER

Concerning the Danube boat accident, the Budapest Police Headquarters informed the captain of the hotel ship of the reasonable suspicion of one crime.

Colleagues of the Budapest Police Headquarters interrogated the captain of the hotel ship for one crime regarding the Danube boat accident of 29 May 2019 and informed him of the reasonable suspicion of him having committed the crime of endangering of waterborne traffic causing a fatal mass disaster.

In the course of the investigation, the Budapest Police Headquarters examine all circumstances of the accident, however – contrary to the news published in the press – the investigation is currently carried out for the reasonable suspicion of one crime and the Budapest Police Headquarters has not informed the captain of any further suspicion.
