JOINT SEARCH – CEASELESS OPERATION

Water police officers of the Budapest Police Headquarters, in cooperation with the Rapid Response and Special Police Service and South Korean soldiers, coast guards and firefighters, continue to inspect the Danube section of 215 kilometres south to Budapest. The intensive work is carried out both on the river, its floodplains and foreshore.

Members of the search crew using ships and motorboats in the course of the waterborne search are in constant cooperation with police units inspecting the shore and carrying out aerial surveillance, the search operation runs systematically and ceaselessly by maintaining continuous contact.

The search operation, carried out in cooperation of the two countries by using all available vessels, continues non-stop on the Danube section south to our capital city.
